PDTi's management team currently consists of Jeremy Ralph, President and Ian Hyatt, Director of SW Development.
Jeremy Ralph, President
Jeremy Ralph founded PDTi in July of 2004 to address the need for a better top-down methodology and to apply higher-level software techniques - like XML, object oriented modelling, and dynamic code generation - to electronic system design. Prior to this Jeremy worked as a design engineer at Intel and West Bay Semiconductor developing next generation communication ICs, related design / verification methodologies and custom tools.
At PDTi Jeremy leads the company's vision and execution. By relying on his development experience and interacting with development teams Jeremy is able to define pragmatic products that solve real industry pains.
Aside from PDTi Jeremy enjoys the ocean and mountains of the West Coast. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Ian Hyatt, Director of SW Development
Ian Hyatt brings to PDTi a wide range of knowledge and experience surrounding enterprise and application software development. Prior to joining PDTi, Ian was a Senior Software Developer at BlackBoard / WebCT, the world's leading provider of e-learning systems to educational institutions.
At PDTi Ian plays a lead role in coordinating, architecting and developing PDTi’s products and is responsible for implementing best practices across the organization.
Ian holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia. He is a Sun Certified Java Programmer and has presented at the Java Architects Special Interest Group (JA-SIG). In his spare time Ian enjoys travelling, snowboarding and playing ultimate Frisbee.
