Register Management Product Development Positions:
The successful candidates will contribute to the development of PDTi’s SpectaReg web application for automating the critical chip development process of hardware/software register interface design for System-on-a-Chip (SoC) design. This position uniquely bridges the core competencies of electronic system development with web-application development.
Java Web-Application Developer:
The successful candidate MUST:
- illustrate competence and experience with object oriented analysis and design with Java web development (Servlets, AJAX, LDAP, Hibernate, Spring, HTML, XML, CSS)
- have proven experience working with various Linux distributions
- be interested in virtualization
- be a Canadian citizen with a Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering degree
The successful candidate SHOULD have experience with:
- the Eclipse framework
- ant build environments
- test-driven development and QA procedures
Register Automation Engineer
The successful candidate MUST:
- have digital RTL design experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog for ASIC & FPGA flows
- have experience with the Python and Java programming languages
- understand the needs of the hardware verification and software for register interfaces
- be a Canadian citizen with an accredited Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degree
The successful candidate SHOULD have experience with:
- on-chip bus interface protocols like ARM AMBA AXI, &OCP-IP
- OVM & VMM verification methodologies
- firmware development using C/C++
